Welcome to our life! I am Pradeep Janardhan Padanthaya. I  live in Edison NJ and work as a Java developer in Manhattan for Vitech Systems Group since February 2006. My wife Sannutha Addai, whom I married in March 7th 2004,  works as a webiste co-ordinator for www.a2zcolleges.com since March 2006. We were blessed with a beautiful little angel, Pranutha Pradeep Padanthaya. She was born on 30th January 2008 weighing 7lbs

Why did we choose PraisedLight name for this website? Well, there are multiple reasons, One - its catchy, Two - It has a meaning since Sannutha & Pranutha in Sanskrit means Praised where as Pradeep means Llight or Lamp.So this name PraisedLight is more appropriate for our family website.Third- I was lucky enough that nobody had taken this domain name!

 I was born in a small country side place in Karnataka, India called Coorg  My Dad, Mr. Janardhan Padanthaya was a school HeadMaster then (retired now) and my Mom (or Amma as we call her) is a home maker.Most of my primary education happened in Coorg itself amidst Coffee estates, heavy rainfall and lot of fun. I am the youngest among two brothers. My elder brother Jeevan Padanthaya was very caring about me when I was small (and even now!).I did my bachelors from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, Mysore and then joined i2 Technologies(a Dallas,TX  base Supply Chain software maker) in Bangalore as a Software Engineer.I came to the US of A in 2002.

Sannutha was born and bought up in a place called Kokkada nearby Mangalore in Karnataka, India. Her father Vasudeva Shabaraya is a agriculturist cum Public Servant. He is currently the head of the famous Ganapathi temple in Southada. Her mom is Malathi Shabaraya, a home maker. She has one elder sister,Shewtha and a younger brother Sandesh. She did her bachelors in Suratkal near Mangalore.

This website is mainly created to keep track of what is happening in our life, just for ourselves. Anybody else is more than welcome to read and comment. But please understand that this is a personal website and all views expressed here are our personal views. We are, in no way responsible for any action occured after reading the contents here. This website would have a  blog section where in we would be blogging about things happening in our life and a section for viewing photos. I would be also writing about Indian stock market once in a while since I have been investing there from past two years. I will try to recommend one stock per week just based on fundamentals.(Your are at your risk in investing in these stocks) I am no expert in either writing nor my vocabulary is great. My photography skills are also not so good. But I am confident that with time, I would improve it. This is the whole idea of creating this website, to at least be more organized in life and improve things that we take very casually in our life!
